The purpose of verification is to identify the person who buys domains on the marketplace. Some users register their accounts under false details, then they purchase a domain on the marketplace without the intention of paying for them. One of the measures we take to prevent such situations is the account verification.

How does account verification work?

Verification is necessary if you want to place bids in auctions or order domain drop-catching. Some sellers may also require verification before you can make purchase offers for their domains. Other account operations, for example, registering domains or purchasing the hosting service, do not require verification.
