How are domain sale offers positioned and sorted?

Search results on the marketplace contain two kinds of domain sale offers:

• Promoted offers: they are offers for which the sellers have bought a paid promotion to place them at the top of the search results. They are marked with a yellow background.
• Other offers: they are offers for which no paid promotion was purchased. They are marked with a white or grey background.

You can sort domain sale offers in many ways. The promoted offers are always sorted accordingly and placed at the top of the list, followed by the rest of the offers.

Default sorting:

If you do not choose any other sorting method, the offers will be sorted according to our default algorithm. It chooses the placement of the offers based on the following criteria:

• The way of selling the domain (auction or sale offer).
• The current price in the auction.
• The Buy Now price.
• The possibility of renting the domain.
• The possibility of buying the domain in installments.
• The number of received purchase offers.

Sorting by domain name:

The offers are sorted alphabetically according to the domain name. If there are multiple domains in a group, the sorting algorithm uses the name of the first domain.

Sorting by number of offers:

The offers are sorted according to the number of purchase offers received within the last year (for purchase offers) or the number of bids in the auction (for auctions).

Sorting by traffic:

The offers are sorted according to the traffic received by the domain within the last 30 days.

Sorting by price:

The offers are sorted according to the Buy Now price (for sale offers) or the current price in the auction (for auctions). Domain sale offers without a Buy Now price are placed at the end of the list.

Sorting by end time:

The offers are sorted according to the end time of the auctions. Offers other than auctions are placed at the end of the list.
