The exception is auctions of caught domains. Such an auction involves only people who have requested catching a domain. If you have not requested catching a domain and you want to bid in the auction, you need to pay a fee for joining the auction. This fee is non-refundable and will not be refunded if you do not win the auction. The fee for joining the auction will not be deducted from the bid amount if you win the auction.
