What is an email alias?
An email alias is an additional name for your email account. Messages sent to the alias address will be delivered to the destination mailbox. This allows you to create a single mailbox (for example, "contact") and multiple different aliases (for example, "office", "secretariat", etc.)
You can also create an email alias that directs mail to an email address in another domain, including one located on another server.
