What is an Internet domain?
Internet domain is an Internet address used to identify a website or other Internet service (e.g. an e-mail server). Names such as google.com or facebook.pl are Internet domains.
An Internet domain is made up of an ending, called an extension (for example .pl or .com) and a proper name. Some domain registries allow you to register domains with additional extensions, for example in Poland you can register such domains as .com.pl, .waw.pl, and many others.
After registering a domain you can add other elements of the name, called subdomains, for example, in the Internet address www.google.com, "www" is a subdomain in the domain google.com.
Each country (as well as some regions of the world) have their own extensions of the so-called national domains, in Poland, there is .pl, in Germany.de. For the European Union, there is also the .eu ending and so on. There are also global domains, non-related to any country, for example, .com and .net), and in recent years, a number of so-called new domains have been introduced, for example, .xyz, .blog, .guru and many more. The list of all domain extensions that you can register at AfterMarket.pl can be found in the price list.
