What are DNS servers in a domain?

DNS servers in a domain are the names of DNS servers, which you want to create in one of your domains. Typically, there is no need to create such servers, because users use DNS servers provided by their domain registrar or hosting provider. If you have your own web server that can work as a DNS server, you can create your own DNS servers using one of your domains. This is usually done in one of the following cases:

1. You provide hosting services and want to place your clients’ (or your own) websites on your server, you need DNS servers, to which the domains will be directed. For this purpose, you can use one of your domains and create DNS servers in it.

2. You want to direct a domain to DNS servers located in the same domain (for example, direct the domain domena.pl to the DNS server ns1.domena.pl). To perform this operation, first you have to create the specified DNS server in your domain, otherwise, the change of delegation will fail.

Creating servers in your domain is an advanced operation and except for the cases mentioned above, it is not necessary.
