Can I disable receiving e-mail notifications?

To disable specific e-mail notifications, on the website menu, select Account -> E-mail notifications.

In the form that is displayed, select "Send only specified notifications", and then from the list, select the notifications you want to receive. Press Change settings in order to save the changes you just made.

If you have received an email notification and do not want to receive it again, you may also click the link that reads "If you do not want to receive these messages anymore, click here" in the e-mail body. You will see a form that allows you to disable this notification without changing other settings on your account.
